Halloween Party

Last night I had a majority of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society at my house for a Potluck date night.  It was a lot of fun to get to meet everyone's spouses and munch on yummy food. I love the fall season and wonderful fall foliage.  Lately it seems I have been so busy that I have forgotten what it feels like to enjoy everyday things in life.  I have class, mediation seminars(which thankfully I am done with), work for the judge, 2 callings, and managing a household.  I really enjoyed general conference at church a couple of weeks ago.  My favorite talk was about managing time and going back to basics in life.  Jasper our cat has had problems with coughing, so we took him to the vet only to find he has asthma. Thankfully, the medicine he needs is really cheap and easy to give him.  The bad thing is that this may lead to more health problems and shorten his lifespan.  So now I am looking at household product to determine if they could be what are triggering his attacks. Poor kitty.

My 25th Birthday!

I recently had my 25th birthday.  The weekend before my birthday we went up for Callie's wedding in Jonesboro, afterward we went to my parents for a birthday party for me. I was excited that my brother's family were able to make it to my parents for dinner that night also.  It was nice to get to see all of them and hangout.  My mom served us pizza and a cake that she made for me.  My parents bought me flowers and garden gloves for my birthday.

Flowers from my parents.

On my birthday I had mediation seminar all weekend at school so I had class all day and did not get to celebrate on the day of.  For my birthday John bought me dance lessons-I have been wanting to do this for a while.  We will have to go get our 3 lessons soon.  The weekend after my birthday John's mom and family came over to celebrate.  They brought pizza, a candy cake, and my birthday gift of a beautiful apron.  We watched Iron Man 2 while we celebrated.  I know, I got two weekends of birthday loving, I feel so spoiled.

Callie's Wedding

Last month, we went to my high school friend Callie's wedding reception up in Jonesboro. It was awesome getting to see Callie as a married women!
