San Franciso

John took a work trip to the sungard conference April 10-15 in San Francisco.  He spent most of his time in classes but with the spare time he did have off he had some fun. He got there a day early on Saturday he and Peter from work went to the Oakland Temple to do endowments.  They also geocached and took pictures of the golden gate bridge.  The conference provided parties almost every night the first night was a fake casino game night and the third night was a dinner/ theater.  John and his coworkers went to a baseball game on night, and yes John ate a baseball hot dog. This is the first time that John had been to a baseball game. The other night they spent going into china town and eating an authentic meal-John said it was amazing. On the way home his flight had problems so he was late for his second flight, which meant that he got pushed to a flight 5 hours later. He was stuck at Denver airport for over 5 hours, poor guy we have been stuck at that airport many times. In all he came home with a few trinkets-I got chinese balls from when he went to china town. He has already posted most of the pictures.  John rode the trains and was outside at some scary times at night. He was not impressed with the city-was really dirty and had lots of scary people(including the people who peed on the buildings sides).  I don't know if he would want to go back again, I guess john is not a cityslicker.
