2nd Vacation Week

The fourth of July weekend started John's second vacation week.  We went to a church party on Saturday night.  There is this awesome family that sells fireworks and has a giant party (couple hundred people show up) to eat, watch fireworks, and the kids play in the pond. It did  not take but a few hours to get bored so we went to a couple's house that live nearby and played games.  Then we went back to the party for more food and amazing fireworks-which were some of the best I have seen.  On Sunday we went to John's moms for a 4th Barbecue-ribs and fresh garden veggies yum!  On Monday John finally took me to see Eclipse ( I cannot believe he fell asleep through some of it).  I loved Eclipse it was so much better than the previous two movies-I guess the new director is the difference.  I cannot wait to watch it again.  John is the scoutmaster at church so he went to scout camp on Wednesday and got back late Friday afternoon.  John really struggles with heat so it was no surprise that he struggled with the camping out in high heat.  He mostly sat around with the bugs and watched the boys in their classes.  I think he enjoyed hanging around the campsite talking to the boys.
