Classic Date

This weeks date night was instead a Saturday afternoon.  First we went to see date night at the Tandy 10 ( if you have not yet discovered this theater only cost 75 cents a show).  This movie was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen and any married couple who has struggled to have a date night can completely understand what the on screen couple is going through.  It had more cussing than I would have liked, but there was no sexual stuff that can sometimes make you wonder how it is really rated only pg 13.

For lunch we went to Istanbul restaurant in the pleasant ridge town center.  This is a Turkish food restaurant.  We had cheesy appetizers called a cigar, donner meals-lamb/beef slices, and lentil soup.  We loved the food and would like to go back again, it is so nice to eat something so different.  The day was not done yet though we decided that the comedy must continue so we went to watch grownups.  This movie was also funny but not as good as the first one.  Nothing like a double feature at the movies on a rainy day.
